Our Darjeeling tea House Blend naturally comes from the Darjeeling tea region, which is in India’s north east. Situated in the foothills of the Himalayas, it shares borders with Bhutan and Nepal and is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
The spectacular scenery notwithstanding, the environment there is one of those rare ideal mixes of altitude, sunlight, warmth and rain. Our Darjeeling tea is a second flush and is strong and full bodied with a very aromatic flavour.
Of the twenty or so Darjeeling teas our team tested this was an overwhelming favourite, not surprising considering it's SFTGOP1 (Special Finest Tippy Golden Orange Pekoe 1), which basically means it's the highest grade of tea in the world and only grown at a few exclusive plantations.
