There are two types of matcha green tea, ususha and koicha. Usuasha is the thinner of the two and used for everyday drinking. Chah’s matcha is usuasha and although it does taste great on it’s own it’s best used for mixing.

Brew:
80C water, 1.5 grams (half a teaspoon, or a heaped matcha scoop) of matcha powder with around 75ml of water. Add around 2/3 of the water and whisk using a kneading action in the shape of an n. Once the paste is consistent add the remaining 1/3 of the water and continue to mix.
Matcha Latte
Put 1 tsp matcha (to taste) into matcha bowl or teapot, add hot water, mix and then add sugar or honey. Pour matcha mix into a cup, & top with 3/4 of a cup of warm milk.
